The Chamber Foundation was hosting a new and exciting three day conference structured around the Athena International platform that would bring Athena Award winners to the Hudson Valley from all over the country, host life-changing panels and educational sessions, motivational keynotes, and a formal awards presentation. They needed to work with an agency with conference marketing experience who not only could build a robust and mobile forward website for the conference, but also to maintain it.
Gilday Creative Plan
Because of the amount of content updates centered around a conference with many moving parts, we created the website in the content management system (CMS), WordPress. Being that the software is cloud based, a user could log in remotely to make updates in real time. This is a large benefit for an active conference, as they may need the flexibility and ability to change a class schedule, update a speaker, or event the timing as it’s happening. We also made sure that all aspects of the website was mobile optimized as many conference attendees would be using the website as a resource on the day of the event by pulling up speaker bios, event schedules, or activity information.
Our conference marketing resulted in a smooth and easy to use website that translated seamlessly between all devices, was very informative and helpful to conference attendees up to and during the festivities, was easy to maintain, and met the high level of efficiency for a multiple day conference.
