In collaboration with Todd Fitzgerald of Fast Signs of the Hudson Valley our president Sheila Gilday taught a branding seminar to members of the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce on March 13, targeted towards businesses and entrepreneurs on the importance of a branding a business in a changing economy.
Items covered in the informative workshop:
- Exploring what a brand really is
- Helpful tips to make a brand relevant to it’s target market
- Developing a mission / positioning statement
- Resourceful worksheets with questions to ask about your business
Attendees left the seminar feeling invigorated and ready to either take the next step of a business idea, or to implement new ideas into their current businesses.
Frank Tangredi, of Frank Tangredi Real Estate Office said “I’ve been in the real estate business for almost 20 years, and found that my marketing efforts have grown a little stale. After learning all I did today, I’m ready to take a 30,000 foot view of my business , fill out the worksheet and really hone in my brand.”
This workshop is the first of an educational series in collaboration with area chambers of commerce with Gilday Creative and Fast Signs of the Hudson Valley meant to empower local businesses and entrepreneurs about their branding and marketing efforts.
